During the COVID-19 Global Pandemic we are still dedicated to supplying a knowledgeable, efficient and quality service – all whilst being ‘COVID Secure’.

From the 24th of September 2020, it will be mandatory by law for all staff, customers, suppliers and visitors to our retail premises to wear a face covering.

All of our branches are open Monday to Friday, 7:30am until 5pm and on Saturday mornings from 8am until 12pm.

There have been some changes, to ensure the safety of staff and customers is paramount.

What have we done?

We have made our workshops and offices secure with a series of changes that keep these areas as safe as possible. They will remain ‘behind the scenes’ and ‘out of bounds’, as far as customers and suppliers are concerned.

We welcome all of our customers back into our trade counters. However, there are some changes that are likely to be in place for the foreseeable future.

What is different?

We have introduced social distancing. Please ensure to keep at least 2m away from staff and other customers. During busy periods, you may be asked to wait outside and called in when it is appropriate.

Please observe any safety instructions on signage or given to by staff.

When inside, you may be asked to wait in a particular area or to move from where you are standing, please don’t be offended, we are trying to look after everybody.

We have screens to protect staff and customers whilst you are being provided service.

Our coffee machines used to be a welcome chance to get refreshed and enjoy a chat, unfortunately these are not open for use at present.

We cannot offer toilet facilities for customers either, at present.

It is wise to call ahead and double check that we have the equipment available for you. This will help to reduce any waiting time in the depot or unnecessary visits.

If you are coming to collect or bring back any equipment that requires lifting in or out of your vehicle, please bring somebody from your household with you, where possible, to help loading and unloading. This helps reduce the risk of staff and customers breaking the 2m distancing. We have forklifts available to help loading, if you have a suitable vehicle.

Please limit the number of people that come into the trade counters together – by this, we mean if somebody has come with you to help loading, they should stay outside or in your vehicle.

If possible, please pay by card, rather than cash, further reducing any chance of spreading any infection.

Together we will get through this!
